Schools on Fort Bragg include one junior high, one middle school, and six elementary schools including an elementary school located on Pope Air Force Base. In order to attend Fort Bragg schools, students must live on either base or have five months or less on the waiting list to obtain post housing. High school students who live on post will attend E.E. Smith High School which is located in the Cumberland County School District. To enroll, students must have a birth certificate, immunization records, proof of residence and a social security number and report card from their prior school.
