Upon arrival in the Fort Bragg area, the nearest main airport is the Fayetteville Regional Airport which supports such airlines as Delta, American, and US Airways. Bus routes are provided through the Fayetteville Area System of Transit, and Amtrak runs a service to the area from the Atlantic Coastline Railroad Station. The main highways leading to the base include Interstate 95, and the Martin Luther King Freeway, and the All American Freeway. Taxis are also available directly from the airport to the base. Temporary lodging is available at the Airborne Inn but soldiers who in or out processing from Fort Bragg have priority. Other temporary accommodations are available in the nearby communities in many hotels and motels that offer the extended stay options.
