The Chaplain at Fort Bragg offers religious services for five denominations: Catholic, Protestant, Islamic, Jewish, Wiccan and Buddhist. Other denominations may be found in nearby community churches. The Chaplain’s office offers counseling services for individuals and families as well as using volunteers in some of their programs. Volunteers undergo training and are known as Directors of Religious Education. To provide or perform religious support for all authorized personnel of Fort Bragg, NC during peacetime and across the full spectrum of war in order to support the command in the facilitation of the free exercise of religion. To advise the command in matters of religion, morals, morale, and ethical issues in order to support the unit mission.
